Our Shri Siddeshwar Sikshan Mandal Trust was established in 1992 having a vision to establish education hub in Solapur city. Solapur evolved as an Industrial town having large labour class with textile back ground. In order to have a planned city with good environs our Trust established college of Architecture in the year 1993 as ‘Shri Siddeshwar Sikshan Mandal’s College of Architecture’. Later various kind of education was introduced like Butterfly English Medium School, Vishvaswaraiya Technical Institute, Certificate course etc. and lots to go more.
Shree Siddheshwar Shikshan Mandal’s College of Architecture (SSSMCOA) had its humble origin at the sacred temple of Lord Siddheshwar in 1993. Today the College has grown up and established itself with its own building at Ujjani colony, Solapur. The College is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, and is affiliated with Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University (PAHSUS). The institute, running a full-time 5-year B. Arch degree course, is regulated by a team of well-qualified and dedicated faculties which includes practicing architects, engineers, and Allied field experts.

Architecture is a field which brings together all Arts, Science & Technology to create design the environment for mankind. The main role of an Architect is to create awareness to society, infrastructure development at national level, globalization and awareness amongst the public.
SSM’s College of Architecture aspires to make the college campus as a hub of Architectural education. I am confident that with the support of my efficient and dedicated team and forever enthusiastic students, we shall continue to deliver the best Architectural education that shall lay foundations to new & innovative architectural languages.
To develop this, we continuously update the courses and their syllabus keeping in view of the changing need to the society. A strict adherence, to academic curriculum is backed with many guest lectures, case-study visit, study tours and participation in competitions at national levels. Many students’ activities like NASA, NIASA, Ethos and Spaces are encouraged.  We want our students to be well educated & responsible citizens and you will be happy to know that our student has excelled in their achievements and are well settled.
What we have achieved so far is definitely commendable but I am aware that there is still scope for us to reach the higher level of academic excellence. I have no doubt that we will be able to achieve our objectives with the co-operation of our Honorable Management Committee, expert experienced teachers and our supportive students.
